Eastcourts is a tennis club located in Kingsford, 8mins’ drive from Mascot, Sydney. Eastcourts Tennis Club has an experienced team of professionals, led by GM and Head Coach Michael Boss.
OUR COURTS
We have eight clay courts. 8 clay courts. Our court surface is a carpet surface called Classic Clay. Eastcourts is one of the only clay court tennis centres in Sydney. With lights for night tennis, we have courts available ’til 10.30pm.
EASTCOURTS TENNIS COACHING MASCOT
Our coaching program focuses on swing paths, correct stroke production, precision tennis footwork and match-play. We offer ladies’ group coaching, squads for adults and kids and also private tennis lessons. New to Eastcourts is Cardio Tennis – exercise, fun and fitness done to music. Cardio Tennis emphasises fitness and fun.
ABOUT EASTCOURTS TENNIS COACHING
Michael Boss, Head Coach at Eastcourts, is a certified Level 2 “Club Pro” with Tennis Australia and a Master Coach with the ATPCA. Michael is also a specialist in teaching tennis footwork technique using “The Bailey Method”. Senior coach Luke Dews is Tennis Australia (Level 2) and Baily Method (Level 1) certified, while Cam Wilson, our Cardio Tennis coach, is Tennis Australia certified.
JUNIOR COACHING
Hot Shots is Tennis Australia’s junior tennis development program and Eastcourts is a Hot Shots deliverer. Hot Shots uses mini-nets, agility ladders etc to make tennis enjoyable for kids of all ages. Eastcourts also runs its own supervised junior competitions.
SCHOOL HOLIDAYS TENNIS CAMPS
Eastcourts tennis camps are run for kids ages 5-16 that feature games and multi-sports, fun and fitness for active kids. We have just six kids per supervisor/coach.
EVENTS & FUNCTIONS
Eastcourts Tennis runs Social Tennis on Sunday afternoons. We offer private corporate tennis functions too, as well as children’s birthday parties, which include use of our courts, coaches and clubhouse. On-site catering is available through our own East Cafe for coffees, drinks and snacks.
PRO SHOP
Eastcourts’ Pro Shop does restrings, sells junior racquets for children ages 4-12 and elite player racquets (Head & Babolat), plus grips and new tennis balls. Eastcourts also sells tennis shoes and tennis clothing such as caps, hoodies, t-shirts.
