Eastcourts is a tennis club located in Kingsford, about nine minutes’ drive from Zetland, Sydney. Eastcourts Tennis Club has a team of qualified and highly professional coaches. The GM and Head Coach is Michael Boss.
OUR COURTS
We have eight clay courts. 8 clay courts. Our court surface is like the clay courts in South America and Europe. The centre also has lights for night tennis, so we have courts available until 10.30pm.
EASTCOURTS TENNIS COACHING
Our coaching program features stroke production, serving, game-play and tennis footwork. We offer group coaching just for ladies, squads for adults and kids, private tennis lessons and Cardio Tennis too. Cardio Tennis is an exercise tennis class with an on-court music soundtrack and is focused more on fun than tennis tuition.
ABOUT EASTCOURTS TENNIS COACHING
Michael Boss is a Level 2 “Club Pro” certified by Tennis Australia, and he is also a specialist in teaching tennis footwork technique (as per the “The Bailey Method”). Senior coach Luke Dews is from the UK and is Tennis Australia (Level 2) and Baily Method (Level 1) certified. Cam Wilson, our Cardio Tennis coach, is certified as a specialist Cardio coach by Tennis Australia.
JUNIOR COACHING
Hot Shots is Tennis Australia’s junior development program and Eastcourts is a nominated Hot Shots deliverer. Hot Shots uses mini-nets, junior racquets in a range of sizes and agility ladders etc to make playing tennis fun for kids of any age. Eastcourts also runs internal junior competitions which are supervised by our coaches.
SCHOOL HOLIDAYS TENNIS CAMPS
Eastcourts tennis camps are run for kids ages 5-16 each schoool holidays. They feature games and multi-sports, fun and fitness. We guarantee six kids maximum to every supervisor/coach.
EVENTS & FUNCTIONS
We offer private corporate tennis events and functions, as well as children’s birthday parties. Eastcourts functions feature use of courts and clubhouse with coaches supervising. On-site catering is available through East Cafe.
PRO SHOP
Eastcourts’ Pro Shop does restrings, sells “player” racquets (Head & Babolat), junior racquets, grips, tennis shoes and tennis clothing such as caps, hoodies, t-shirts. We also stock Gold and Roland Garros tennis balls by Babolat.
TENNIS GIFT CERTIFICATE
We now have a special Eastcourts gift certificate, which is redeemable for any Pro Shop product. This includes not just clothing and equipment but also tennis lessons (squads or private coaching) and custom restrings.
